Hi! I'm Shuli Elisheva. 👋 🙂
I have been learning and using Yiddish since 2009. I've composed over 50 Yiddish songs and written dozens of Yiddish poems, in addition to teaching, coaching, guest lecturing, webinaring, and leading online reading groups. My hobbies include reading Yiddish fantasy literature, collecting Yiddish children's books, and listening to new Yiddish music from today's best songwriters.
I am a proud transgender woman and omnisexual. I am also an Orthodox Jew with an admiration for all denominations. My studio is a safe space for people of all genders, sexualities, and religious and political beliefs. My offerings are not about me; they are about you and helping you reach and live your dreams with Yiddish, whoever you are and whatever your dreams may be.
I empower my students not only as a teacher, but more importantly as a coach. Rather than prescribing a set course of study, I coach my students through their deeply personal journeys with Yiddish, empowering them to smash imposter syndrome, supercharge motivation, maintain positive habits, and creatively craft their own unique paths through learning and using this magical language.
Would you like a free consult, so I can learn more about your background and dreams with Yiddish, and we can discuss if my offerings are right for you?
I look forward to guiding you as we use our Yiddish together!
